Through the insertion of feature timber elements throughout, SABA Chermside sees a warm and softened take on the in-store retail experience. The shopfront is a combination of large imposing timber members that frame the entry to the space; a space that sees custom stainless-steel storage units, stone flooring and counters, with feature timber joinery elements dotted throughout. The over-scaled light fittings are inserted as points of drama and the joinery is purposed as sculptural elements. The heavy pooled drapes and fitting room experience is intended to be one of immersion and comfort.
