Nestled in Melbourne CBD’s Degraves st, Hecker Guthrie have crafted a rich, interior atmosphere combining contemporary design and local artistry transcending notions of a gelaterias. Informed by site, scale, and location the project is a detuned approach to gelaterias while staying true to Piccolina’s spirit. This was an opportunity to explore the concept of a balance between raw but romantic and faded but fresh through a restrained palette.
