Outpost has a casual, eclectic aesthetic, yet the attention to detail can be seen in every custom designed hinge and hook throughout the refined industrial space. Surrounded by the siphon, pressing and filtering of specialty coffee, the reclaimed timber table tops and muted palette make for a relaxed communal kitchen to the surrounding residents.  Outpost is an excellent example of hands on approach to the building process where an enthusiastic builder relished the handmade quality of the work involved.

Outpost has won both the commendation for hospitality design  and a commendation for colour in commercial design at the 2010 Interior Design Awards and the project has been shortlisted for the 2010 IDEA awards, Hospitality Interior Category.
