Situated in Brighton, the brief was to celebrate the old-world grandeur of this 1800’s home and introduce a simple but richly layered addition. The narrative of the insertions and renovation was inspired by unassuming architecture and the relaxed lifestyle of Southern Italy.

Hecker Guthrie combines gestures of warmth and texture to create joyful moments throughout, allowing the narrative of the home to sit comfortably alongside the evolving dialogue of its growing family.
